Classic Italian Bolognaise Sauce
1 lb Ó Crualaoí Round Steak Mince
1 Carrot peeled and Diced
1 Onion Peeled and Diced
100ml White Wine (optional)
3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
1 Tin Chopped Tomatoes
2 Cloves Garlic Peeled and Crushed
Salt and pepper
Heat the oil in a saucepan and add onion and carrot and cook over low heat for 3 minutes.
Add the mince meat and turn up heat. Cook and stirr until browned.
Add Wine, garlic and simmer until Wine has evaporated.
Season with salt and pepper and add Tomatoes.
Simmer for 30 minutes – stirring often to prevent sticking.
