Classic Italian Bolognaise Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 lb Ó Crualaoí Round Steak Mince
- 1 Carrot peeled and Diced
- 1 Onion Peeled and Diced
- 100ml White Wine (optional)
- 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 Tin Chopped Tomatoes
- 2 Cloves Garlic Peeled and Crushed
- Salt and pepper
Directions
- Heat the oil in a saucepan and add onion and carrot and cook over low heat for 3 minutes.
- Add the mince meat and turn up heat. Cook and stirr until browned.
- Add Wine, garlic and simmer until Wine has evaporated.
- Season with salt and pepper and add Tomatoes.
- Simmer for 30 minutes - stirring often to prevent sticking.
