What makes our Beef different?
Ó Crualaoí Butcher Shops source all our meat directly from farmers in the Cork area. We have formed and built on these relationships with the farmers over many years. We have full traceability of all the meat products that we sell in our shops. We take great pride in our Irish Beef and will never compromise on quality.
We have our own Abattoir on our farm in Ballincollig. This allows us to maintain quality right through to the sale of the meat to our customer. We believe in good animal Husbandry practices and this is borne out in the Quality of our Beef.
Beside our Abattoir, we have a room specifically for the process known as 'Dry Aging' the sides of Beef. This is what gives us the fuller flavour, deeper colour and tenderness to which our customers have become accustomed. Our Master Butcher in Ballincollig, Noel McNamara, who has been with us for over 20 years, overseas all the different aspects of the aging process so that when the meat arrives to him - he is certain of the quality.
